cosmopolitan of las vegasOne of the newest spots on the Las Vegas Strip, The Cosmopolitan is undoubtedly also one of the most chic and glamorous. This is a spot that is a feast for the senses in so many different ways. Luxury accommodations, great food, scintillating nightlife, and state of the art technology are what brings The Cosmopolitan to life. It was towards the end of 2010 that this beautiful pair of towers made their official debut on the Strip. While being completely new, the building ushered in the end of an era, as many expect this to be the last major addition to the Strip for quite some time.

What The Cosmopolitan also showed was that you don’t have to have some sort of theme in order to thrive in the heart of Vegas. The lobby itself looks like a high class lounge, with video screens and mirrors wrapping around 8 huge columns. A real drinking spot, the Vesper Lounge, is just moments away, and is where you will get your hands on the fictional martini that is the drink of choice for super spy James Bond. As inviting as the bar is, all the other entertainment, dining, and shopping offered by The Cosmopolitan will make you want to go explore more.

Many people that make the trip to Vegas do so to take in the nightlife. The Cosmopolitan has become the go to spot for all that the night holds. The Chandelier is a party spot that needs to be seen to be believed. Built three storeys high, each level holds a unique vibe. Classic cocktails are found on the top floor, with a cool lounge in the middle, and an exciting social scene on the bottom floor.

If you hit The Cosmopolitan in the height of spring and summer, you can also take advantage of the Marque Dayclub that takes place poolside.

Social butterflies will get a kick out of the Rose Rabbit Lie club, which is equal parts restaurant, bar, and club. You can also take a trip back in time to vaudeville days by taking in the quirky acts on display at the “Vegas Nocturne” show.

Culinary geniuses the world over were carefully chosen to deliver a wide array of dining experiences to guests of The Cosmopolitan. STK delivers a unique take on the standard steakhouse vibe under the watchful eye of Chef Stephen Hopcraft. Another big name chef, Scott Conant, is the man in charge of Scarpetta, an Italian restaurant that adopts a rustic kitchen style.

Las Vegas fine dining is taking on a whole new look at The Cosmopolitan, with the likes of the Mediterranean themed Estiatorio and Jose Andres’ Jaleo delivering culinary delights the likes of which are hard to find anywhere else on the Strip.

There is also plenty of casual dining on tap at The Cosmopolitan. You’ll flip for the burgers made from fresh ingredients at Holsteins, while the Wicked Spoon conjures up a delicious brunch/buffet where American comfort food is the name of the game. Look close enough and you’ll find a secret little pizza window where you can grab a slice and a cold soda to take on the go.

the chelsea cosmopolitanSome of the biggest musicians in the world have taken the stage at The Chelsea in the Cosmopolitan Hotel of Las Vegas. Pop sensation Bruno Mars is one of the regular guests who performs live at the venue. You don’t always have to have a ticket to see the show, though, as The Cosmopolitan will often broadcast the action on a 65-foot LED display that sits on the marquee outside. If you want to take in a free show, there is usually always something going on at the Book & Stage and Bond lounges.

Those that need a break from all the partying can do so by taking in some of the amazing shopping that’s available. There is plenty of exclusive apparel to be found in the big name boutiques that are located inside the resort. The P3 Studio is a place you need to see if you are a lover of fine art created by artists from all across the globe.

The spacious rooms in The Cosmopolitan are stunning both inside and out. Beautifully appointed interior spaces are complemented by oversized balconies that offer stunning views along the Strip.

As you might expect, the hotel also features an incredible casino, as well as the beautiful Sahra Spa, where you can easily chill out and be pampered for a few hours.

While there is plenty to see and do along the strip, everything you could ever hope for can be found under the roof of The Cosmopolitan.
